ABOUT DOMORE DIGITAL
Running my own business has been one of the most fulfilling, and at times difficult, things I've ever done. There's something special about being trusted with someone's biggest day, or a company's story, and knowing the final product carries my name on it. Being responsible for not only the final product but also my month to month income puts me in a position to work hard on delivering amazing results. That's never something I take lightly — whether it's a wedding, a corporate video, or a livestream for a school or non-profit, I want it to be something you're genuinely proud to display and share.
Also in 2017, at that same summer camp, I met my now-wife. We started dating in 2019, and got married in 2022. She's been a pediatric nurse since 2021, which means between the two of us, we spend our days either capturing big moments or taking care of kids — sometimes both. We're foster parents, and we're hoping to adopt our foster daughter in 2027. It's the kind of thing that puts "capturing memories" into real perspective for me beyond the typical Instagram caption. I know firsthand how much it matters to have those moments documented well, because I want that for my own family too.
Outside of work, my wife and I love to travel and spend time with friends whenever we can. And because I'm "the photo/video guy," I usually end up being the one behind the camera on trips and get-togethers, too — which I don't mind one bit. It's a strange kind of honor, being the person people trust to capture their memories, whether that's a friend's birthday, a family vacation, or a couple's wedding day. I take that seriously across the board, personal and professional.
That's really what DoMore Digital is built on: the same standard I set for myself back in high school — quality work worth putting my name on — applied to every wedding, every business project, every livestream I take on. If you're a couple planning your wedding, I want your photos and video to feel like you, not like a template. If you're a business, I want the marketing, promotional, or documentary work I create to actually move the needle for you — something your team is proud to use and your audience responds to.
I've been full-time in this industry since 2019, based in Wilmington, Delaware, and I love that this work lets me be part of some of the biggest days in other people's lives — and, along the way, chase the same passion I found back in high school.
If you're looking for a photographer or videographer who treats your project like it matters — because it does — I'd love to hear from you.

Experience & Credentials
I've been working professionally in photography and videography since 2017, and full-time since December 2019 — nearly a decade of full time professional hands-on experience behind the camera, split between wedding storytelling and commercial production for businesses.
Here's a quick look at the experience behind Richard “RJ” Garrish at DoMore Digital:
9+ years of professional photo and video work, starting with my first paid job in 2017 for Black Rock Retreat and my first wedding that same year.
Full-time, dedicated business owner since 2019 — this isn't a side gig; DoMore Digital is my full-time career and sole focus.
Wedding photography and videography specialist, with experience across full wedding days, from getting-ready shots to reception coverage and multi-camera wedding films.
Commercial and corporate production experience, creating marketing, promotional, and documentary-style video content for businesses, along with live-stream event production for weddings and corporate events alike.
Based in Wilmington, Delaware, serving couples and businesses throughout Delaware and the surrounding region.
Professional editing workflow, using industry-standard tools — Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Davinci Resolve, Adobe Lightroom, Open Broadcast Software, and more — for editing and color work, ensuring a consistent, professional-grade final product.
Every wedding, brand video, and livestream I produce goes through the same standard: real experience, hands-on craftsmanship, and a final product I'm proud to put my name on. That's the standard behind every photo, video, and article you'll find on this site.
Hi, I'm RJ — the person behind the camera at DoMore Digital.
I picked up a camera for the first time in high school, back when it was just something I did for fun. I had a class in 10th and 11th grade called “Digital Productions” where we would make short films and funny sketch videos as an elective. I'd bring my camera along to hang out with friends, and somewhere along the way, being "the one with the camera" turned into something I genuinely cared about getting right. I wanted the photos to actually look good, to actually mean something.
My first real photo/video job came in 2017 (and 2018), I was the Video Specialist for Black Rock Retreat, a summer camp — and that same year, I shot my first wedding! I was still figuring a lot out, but something clicked. I loved the pressure of a day that only happens once, the responsibility of making sure it was documented well, and the feeling of handing a couple photos and video that let them relive it. It is such a joy for me to be there on an incredibly special day. For the next couple of years, I kept shooting on the side while working as a Tech Specialist at Apple, until December 2019, when I finally took the leap and went all in on photography and videography as a full-time career. I have been self employed since!
Where did DoMore Digital come from?“Do more” has been my phrase since 2018 after a really successful part time year testing the waters of professional media production. The idea came from working harder, “doing more”, saying “yes” to new ideas and partnerships, all of this will help grow a role for me in my greater community as a professional media creator. And then finally in 2019 when my dad helped set up a website, “DoMore.Digital” was available to purchase and I loved that it covered both Photo and Video, an uncommon skill I have in doing both. From there, I’ve been DoMore Digital ever since.
