The Chart has a built in Budget sheet that seamlessly works with your finance tracking. At the beginning of the year, input your budget for Expenses and Income. Then, as you input data, The Chart will keep you updated on your budgeting progress.

New Month to Month Net
New to the 2025 Chart, a month to month evaluation for Net profit or loss calculator is at the bottom of each month in the Budget table view. In addition to each month, there is a calculator that averages your monthly Net profit or loss to help you budget for future revenue.

Get a bigger picture
New to the 2025 Chart, a first and last 6 month total and a final end of year total. Get a bigger view of your budget sheet with the 6 month totals to track your pace over a larger amount of time. Overspent one month? Under-spent another? View your budget at a 6 month scale.

Along with being able to input your beginning of year bank balance to adapt your net worth over time, The Chart 2025 now has 7 Income slots and 7 Custom Expenses. Simply fill out the Incomes and edit the drop-down tiles.
All in Google Sheets
No need to install an app you are unfamiliar with or sign up to yet another service. Chances are, you already have a Gmail account.
The Chart gets sent to you on your Google account. No one else will have access to it. Plus, you get all the built in functions and features of Google Sheets.

This is only open to people who know me. In 2023 I wanted to get serious about my finances. I built The Chart purely for financial discovery and it has lead to a great year of learning where my money goes. In 2024, I started selling it to friends with a brand new budgeting tool to go with the original financial tracking sheet. Now, with countless more features, I sell the Chart today for the same price back in 2023 because I think this is such a great opportunity for people to have a better understanding of their money.
